Our June issue comes fresh off the back of an epic Meguiar’s MotorEx 21, with heaps of event coverage inside.

Plenty of this month’s feature cars strutted their stuff at the show, including Peter Kelly’s mind-blowing, tech-packed XC Falcon. Our cover hero boasts Kaase big-block shove, countless FG bits throughout, and a list of switched-on engineering work longer than your arm!

Sharing real estate with the XC in the MotorEx Superstars hall was the Taylor family’s wonderfully straight HT Monaro, all the way from Karratha, WA!

Stewart Parris’s gorgeous ’55 Chev also made the hike across the Nullarbor to display its stunning paint and bodywork, plus a cleverly disguised LS1.

From the Street Elite hall, you’ll find John Szwede’s oh-so-cool, race-ready LX SS hatchback. It’s a proper pro tourer, with a half-’cage, sticky rubber, big brakes, well-sorted suspension, a close-ratio six-speed and a howling naturally aspirated LS1 stroker.

MotorEx gems aside, we’ve got Danny Howe’s tough-as-hell VN SV89 tribute, combining HSV-special looks and 700hp of blown LS grit.

Stelio Birbas’s VF Valiant coupe is the culmination of a 25-year project, and if you ask us, it’s well worth the wait!

Then there’s Will Taylor’s 1100hp, turbo Windsor-powered family ZC Fairlane as the mother of all hand-me-downs.

We also head to Heathcote to soak in the Holden Nationals, and deliver a great run-down on tyre tech. On the Drag Challenge side, we chat with the father-son duo behind a killer 408ci EJ Holden, while our Iron Maiden talks 70s Datto survivors. It’s all topped off with one of the prettiest blown and injected Windsors we’ve ever seen!
